Norddjurs Municipality
Norddjurs is full of culture, nature and experiences. Our 117 kilometers of coast offer white beaches with blue flags that guarantees outstanding bathing water. Here, you can enjoy many hours of play and activities in nature.
You can experience food culture, agriculture and hunting history at The Green Museum that lies next to the manor museum Gl. Estrup. Here, you can feel the atmosphere of old time farm life when different time periods are being brought to live.
At the Coast and Fjord Centre, the entire family can take a sailing trip or catch fish and fry them at the bonfire. If you want to experience life under the ocean, you can go to Kattegatcentret in Grenaa og say hallo to the 250 wild species from all over the world.
If you are more into town life, you can go shopping in Grenaa’s many specialty shops or visit one of the town’s cosy restaurants. Greenaa also offers the culture houses Pavillionen and Baunhøj Mølle, where you can enjoy both music, theatre, art exhibitions and talks.
Norddjurs is also beautiful nature, soft hills, lovely beaches and great historic mansion areas – and the Desert at the island Anholt, where you can sometimes experience seals. Norddjurs is a part of Nature Park Randers Fjord which in 2018 is appointed one of Denmark’s 8 nature parks.
In the cultural life in Norddjurs, you can also take part in festivals, exhibitions and sports events.
