Micro funds for the development of European projects and collaborations
The performance “HUMAN IN BALANCE” by DON GNU was developed as a part of European Capital of Culture Aarhus 2017 in collaboration with the Cypriot Dance House Lemesos and Bora Bora - Dance and Visual Theatre. The performance also participated in our regional festival REDISCOVER in 2019. Photo: Christoffer Brekne/Aarhus 2017.
Collaborations across borders help create development in the cultural industry. Meeting other cultures, working methods and experiences can result in new knowledge, inspiration and innovation. But our experiences show that for many cultural actors it is a challenge to gather the necessary resources to establish a European collaboration and/or to create EU applications. That is why the European Region of Culture has decided to offer micro funds that will help cultural actors in Central Denmark Region in the early stages of a European collaboration project.
The funds are both for cultural actors that wish to apply for European financing and cultural actors that simply seek new partners or inspiration.
