Shortcut to Europe is a collaboration between the European Culture Region, the Central Denmark Region and the Central Denmark EU Office (CDEU).

The effort develops competencies with cultural players within the European cooperation by offering advice on the development of projects and networks. In addition, the effort creates visibility for cultural players from the Central Denmark Region and municipalities in Europe. CDEU is the effort coordinator, and the effort itself is funded by Central Denmark Region.

Since 2014, Shortcut to Europe has advised on approximately 150 projects and aided 24 projects with applications to European and Nordic funds. Shortcut to Europe is maintained by two employees; one in Central Denmark Region and one in Brussels. These employees are supported by the rest of the EU specific expert knowledge at CDEU.
